In addition to ongoing food packing events, Feed the Hunger will be packing children’s school supplies this month. The recipients will be those in the Kibera slums of Nairobi, Kenya, and each child will also receive a Bible.
The cost is $20 per backpack and the ministry’s overall goal is to send supplies for 4,000 children, which means a total cost of $80,000. Our goal for my birthday event is to fund 500 of the backpacks ($10,000 total).

I’d love to see you on one of those days, but even more, I’d love to know that together we helped hundreds and hundreds of slum children do school better.
