Dear Faithful Partners,
I greet you in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. As summer is definitely in the rearview mirror and as fall gets into high gear, I want to explain our focus for the rest of the year.
One of the primary ways the Lord shows us what to share with friends, prayer partners, and supporters like you is through the needs that our ministry partners share with us. In many ways, we exist to help them further their ministries for God’s glory. As you know, these needs deal primarily with various forms of spiritual and physical hunger.
We receive many requests to fund their timely outreach, but we are rarely able to help the majority of them. This year, we seek your help in saying “Yes!” to as many of our partners’ requests as possible. The total amount needed to fund all of our partners’ Christmas outreach is $33,000. Will you help us share Christ’s love this Christmas with a special gift?
Here are some of the crucial ministry endeavors planned for this December:
FtH provides food and care for several orphan homes around the world. The caregivers cannot afford Christmas decorations, a Christmas meal, or even a small gift for the children. Currently, our partner in Vietnam cares for 63 orphans.
This will be Na Thi Sai’s first Christmas in a loving home. Join us in providing a special Christmas celebration for her and other orphan children who greatly need a little extra love.
Many children in eastern Kentucky will not wake up to Christmas gifts under a tree or sit down for a nice warm meal with their family. The majority of the children FtH cares for throughout the school year do not live with their parents, but instead live with an elderly grandparent. Their homes often do not have electricity, running water, or food.
Please help us provide a special gift and food for both the children and their grandparents this Christmas.
Christmas is a wonderful time for many of our partners to do special ministry outreach in very remote villages to the often-ignored and forgotten. Many, like Pastor Ranjan in Sri Lanka, wish to provide these villagers with food, clothes, and medicine, as well as tell them about the birth of God’s Son and His love for them.
Let’s help our partners make sure that even in the remotest villages no one is left out or forgotten this Christmas.
Many of our partners around the world, like Pastor Charles in Kenya, make tremendous sacrifices to minister in their countries. They don’t receive a regular salary, and what little they do make usually goes toward the care of others.
This year we would like to honor all of our partners for their hard work in serving our Father by presenting them with a special love offering.
The Manjushree Elderly Home in Kathmandu, Nepal lovingly cares for 11 widows discarded by their families and by society. This Christmas, the ladies want to share the love of Christ with their neighbors by inviting them in to eat a meal.
We would like to help them with this very selfless request. We also want to purchase a gift for each elderly widow to open on Christmas morning.
This year, we are compelled to help with as many of these needs as we can by contacting you in advance and asking if you will prayerfully consider giving now, so that our partners can plan accordingly. We hope you will consider a gift of $25, $50, $100, $500, $1,000, or whatever amount the Lord leads you to invest. All gifts designated Christmas Outreach will be put toward the five opportunities listed above, as well as others that have been requested. Let’s believe by faith that God has great plans through our ministry partners to save lost souls this Christmas season!
In His Name and for His glory,
Joseph Williams, CEO
