Each year at this time we gather together for food and fellowship, recounting all the things for which we are thankful. At Feed the Hunger, we are especially grateful for your prayers, gifts, and time spent with us this year. We are humbled by the magnitude of what God has allowed us to accomplish for His kingdom, and we’re looking forward to what the future holds for our ministry.

Even more important than the physical nourishment our meal packets provide is the spiritual nourishment provided through God’s word. We invite you to take some time over the next few days to listen to a powerfully convicting message by our Packathon Director, Scott Hahn. In his message, he retells the familiar story of the Good Samaritan, but with a different focus than you may have heard before – on the heart of the lawyer who asks Jesus, “Who is my neighbor?” Far more than a lesson on how to love others, this parable is about obedience to Jesus, not the law. It’s about humbling ourselves in the face of our own self-righteousness and self-justification.

As you express your gratitude this Thanksgiving, give thanks to Jesus for covering your sins and allowing you to love your neighbor with His perfect love. It’s the greatest gift you could ever receive! Click on the player below to listen to Scott’s message.
