A great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun,
with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head.
She was pregnant and cried out in pain as she was about to give birth.
Revelation 12:1-2

We are currently in a very interesting prophetic window of time as I shared in my last post. I want to share about another fascinating date two years from now.

Without getting into a long explanation, this chapter in Revelation mentioned above has similar content to legends and myths of the ancient world. However, there are some unique details to it, and it has commonly been understood that this is a symbolic story describing the Messiah (the child) being born in Israel (the woman) and the pursuit by Satan (the dragon). Whether this is an accurate interpretation or not is not the purpose of this post.

If you look into the sky from Jerusalem at sunset on September 23, 2017, something occurs that doesn’t happen at any other time in 7,000 years. The constellation Virgo (the Virgin) will be clothed in the sun, with twelve stars on her head, the moon at her feet, and she will be giving birth.

The constellation Leo (the lion) is above Virgo and contains nine stars. On this future date, between Virgo’s head and Leo, will also be the planets Mercury, Mars, and Venus, in line with Leo’s brightest star, Regulus. In other words, there will be 12 stars “crowning” Virgo. The planet Jupiter (the king planet of our solar system) will also be leaving the womb, i.e., below the two stars that define the lower limit of Virgo’s midsection, having spent the previous months on a birth journey in Virgo’s body.

Let me include another snapshot with artist depictions of the two constellations. While only an illustration, of course, it gives you a better idea of what’s going on. You can view this for yourself in a free software program called Stellarium.

What this celestial event means exactly, I’m not prepared to postulate. It just makes you wonder what the Lord is up to. If you’re skeptical of this because you consider it astrology, I encourage you to read one of my previous posts about constellations.
